hello everyone,
a few days ago my AS 3.0 game development book arrived, I'm working through it like a maniac and I'm loving it! I'm planning to release my first AS 3.0 game within a month. It's going to be a sidescrolling platform game. I'm getting pretty familair with the coding and I even started designing the main character.
Here's a small flash preview of the game.

wats AS3? only heard of it once
I've not got it i have flash 8 and flash CS3
AS 3.0 stands for actionscript 3.0. Flash 8 contains only actionscript 2.0 and with flash CS 3 you can choose between actionscript 2.0 and 3.0.
ohh right u used actionscript 3.0? because that is so hard i don't get it lol
I bought myself I nice little book ;) and yes I agree Actionscript 3.0 is f**king hard

Also i do have the lastest flash player because i update my flash player every month and i only updated it the other day.
